Molded ProductsDelford produces a wide array of custom molded and specialty parts. Whether a long run or short run, commercial quality or specification grade material, you’ll find us anxious to accommodate your needs.
Die Cut Parts
We die cut parts from every type of elastomer on the market in almost any shape that’s practical. Parts can be supplied with pressure sensitive adhesive in open cell and closed cell sponge and in solid rubber.
MOLDINGWe mold using compression, transfer and injection processes.
COMPRESSION MOLDING: This method is usually used when small quantities of uncomplicated parts.
TRANSFER MOLDING: Transfer molding is used for more complicated parts in moderate quantities.
INJECTION MOLDING: Because tooling costs are considerably more expensive than compression and transfer molds, injection molding is used when large quantities of complicated parts are required.
RUBBER-TO-METAL BONDING: Most types of rubber can be bonded to metal inserts during the molding process. All three molding techniques can be used, based on the above requirements.
